Translate Silja's sentences
I'd like to have that information, too. :)
After you get the membership, you have to go here and approve the suggestions you made earlier. https://translations.launchpad....ew_suggestions Fortunately there are not that many new suggestions, around 20, so it won't be that hard task to do.
I mean, after they've approved you to the group.
The translation is managed by German translation group: https://launchpad.net/~lp-l10n-de You have to apply to the group and only after that you can also add translations, not just suggestion.
I'm ready now with my Finnish Tatoeba IU translation! \o/
Should the admins/developers now (or next Monday) make some changes to the code, so that Finnish will be one of the options in the language selection drop-down list? Or does it appear there automatically, when there are enough translations in Launchpad?
I didn't find this info from here: http://tatoeba.org/eng/faq#translate-interface. If there is something the translators should do after they've completed a new UI language translation for the first time, please add info about it to the FAQ! :)
Aha! Thank you! :)
I'm translating Tatoeba UI in Finnish in Launchpad and encountered something strage... I guess this is a feature that isn't yet implemented or it's rejected or something. Anyway, I couldn't find a page where these translations belong to, so I could check myself what's the meaning.
These three items are located in http://subversion.assembla.com/...s/index.ctp:96
581. Explode a character
582. characters to explode
583. Explode
Does this really mean "explode" a character, not "explore" or something? Or this a feature, where you can "explode" a hanzi/kanji/hanja character to its radicals? :)
Just wondering how to translate this...
