I have know this website since a long time. It sometimes helps me with Amazigh etymologies.

MessDjaaf should also read more about the Nostratic languages:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nostratic_languages

I think that with its millions of example sentences, Tatoeba would some day help comparative linguists a lot in the field of establishing links between languages that are said to be close but had few studies carried out on them to demonstrate this.

Cueyayotl: I have always been curious to know how much Khanty and Mansi are close to Hungarian. If we could get Khanty and Mansi speakers to participate to this website, we could offer linguists much richer corpora to demonstrate beyond any doubt (to the most skeptical people) that Hungarian is close to these two languages spoken in Siberia :-)

Stop your philosophy. You're not qualified to talk about this. If you disagree with this, mind your own business.

This is the MAK tactic you're using:

False accusations, exaggerations, and misuse of statements: Accusing an Algrerian and Pan-Amazigh language activist of Kabyle origin of being a "Kabyle hater." Haters who accuse other people of hating their own origins.

Nonsense. Total waste of time from you. You neither know me personally nor do you know the scope of my linguistic work. My Amazigh/Berber corpus won't be deleted. Admins keep confirming that. Sorry for you. And you're not qualified to talk about it. As for Amazigh speakers from other areas, they know me and know my work and ideas. They also know the deep hatred the MAK movement has towards pan-Amazighism.

Re: Arabic language. I am ready to write both Algerian Arabic and classical Arabic. I'll be working on that, too. Tatoeba is not just for monolinguals. It's more especially made for translation.

Flags will not be removed from Tatoeba. Only the flag of the racist separatist and potentially dangerous MAK movement could be removed because it is the flag of a small and marginal radical political movement that seeks to draw attention to itself in an Algerian political arena where it is virtually ignored.

Your hysteria and manic agitation shows that you are trying to draw attention to the MAK movement. It wouldn't work, though.

Dear Cueyayotl,

The MAK separatist movement has no popularity nor visibility. It is deeply unpopular in Kabylie and Algeria in general. Its leader has called for the setting up of armed militia. The flag was ordered and designed by the MAK separatist movement. Everyone can see this in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ucEfViWomw&t=59s

Everyone can read about the connection between the MAK separatist movement and the flag here:

https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/dz-kab.html

This movement is marginal. It seeks political and media visibility including by launching hate campaigns against simple individuals and Amazigh language activists like myself and MessDjaaf and by threatening Tatoeba with a lawsuit.

This is laughable and miserable.

Just this morning, 2 Kabyle contributors to the Kabyle corpus told me that they didn't care about the MAK flag. Therefore, your mass leaving of this website won't stop anything.

Delete Kabyle.... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... Again, who said that? Did you say that, MessDjaaf? Did you say it Cueyayotl? Self-victimization to justify abuse, to accuse others of what they didn't do. Same good old tactic.

Belkacem77: It was an error. I misread your message. My bad. It's normal to be confused in such a mayhem. But absolutely no sympathies to the MAK movement.

I have screenshot your threats. Don't worry about that, too.

MeksemS: screenshot this:

Foul-mouthed cheap talker. - This is for you.

>>>>> They want us to leave tatoeba or what?
Nobody has asked you to leave. Your separatist "teammates" have mentioned that.

MeksemS: Don't forget to screenshot this, too.

Add this one, please:

The MAK movement is a potentially terrorist movement. Its members are cheap foul-mouthed aggressive ignorant racists.

Of course, if you are not from the MAK movement, then you shouldn't feel "persecuted"....
