I'm not familiar with this usage of "a". Shouldn't it be:
mi wile e ni: mi uta e sina.
To me, "mi wile e ni: mi uta e sina." is the same as "mi wile uta e sina." So to speak, the latter is the short version of the former, using "wile" as an auxiliary verb / pre-verb.
"a" is for emphasis, as is "really" in this sentence - according to my reading. "a" for "really" is documented in Sonja's new book (a.k.a. "Ku").
So, this sentence still looks good to me. :)
pona! tenpo ni la mi sona e ni. :)
