Translate CK's sentences
> "... English and translated at least five different languages" (Cabo's idea)
Here is a list that might help you easily find such sentences.
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc.../show/7055/und
English Sentences Linked to More Than 9 Languages (Updated Feb. 2020) - Over 40,000 Sentences - List 7055
Note that you can search for sentences on this list that are not yet translated into your own native language with the following advanced search. Just click the "search" button.
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc...roved=no&user=
This search template is set up for Portuguese native speakers. Others may easily change the "Portuguese" setting to their own native languages.

Shishir,
This isn't the solution you want, but this is something you could do in the meantime.
Focus on translating sentences owned by one native Turkish speaker at a time.
You can find the native speakers listed here.
http://tatoeba.ueuo.com/stats-2021-03-13.html
This page also has the option of getting links to sentences by these native speakers that are not yet translated into Spanish by using this URL.
http://tatoeba.ueuo.com/stats-2...-13.html?t=spa
Just skip any contributor of sentences that you do not want to translate.
Look for the "tur not yet in spa" links.
We have a GitHub issue on this matter already.

Just quickly sorting the lines of the English file and glancing through the data makes it seem like this isn't something that would be useful for us to import if that is what you are suggesting.

CC0
Perhaps these are all the sentences that members have created and designated as public domain (CC0). If so, that means you can now use that list to limit your "advanced" searches to public domain sentences if you want to.
[EDIT - 30 minutes later]
I just checked. Last week's export had 33,4044 lines in this file.
https://downloads.tatoeba.org/e...es_CC0.tar.bz2
So, perhaps....
1. Sobsz only included CC0 sentences in languages he/she is studying.
2. Or perhaps to make the list more useful, Sobsz filtered out the massive number of Berber and Kabyle sentences and several other languages that didn't have translations before creating the list. I just tried doing that and the number of sentences is approximately the same as his/her list.
If you want to see if any of your English sentences have audio by me, change the "Owner" field in this preset advanced search form from "DJ_Saidez" to your own username, then click "Search.

** Audio by CK **
The number of English sentences with audio recorded by me has now gone over 550,000.
You can find the sentences with the most-recently added audio files at the top of this list.

Is there a possibility of changing some setting in the search engine we use to allow regex searches like the following?
\bproblem \b[a-z]+ing\b
We have a "duration" tag that you could use for sentences containing a duration phrase.
https://tatoeba.org/eng/tags/sh...s_with_tag/137
Perhaps, putting links to the Quick Start Guide and the Rules and Guidelines in the top navigation menu under "Contribute" would help beginners notice that we have such pages. Those links would likely be more useful than the current "Improve Sentences" and "Discuss Sentences" links if it were felt that this would put too many items in the menu.

I have updated this list.
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc...s/show/996/spa
English Sentences with Audio Linked to Spanish Sentences with Audio
43,268 sentences (The 2020-09-02 update)
50,022 sentences (The 2021-01-31 update)
This means that now you can use this search.
English sentences on list 996 (eng-spa audio pairs) with no Russian translations
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc...o=&sort=random
Just click the "Search" button.
Others who want to translate into languages other than Russian only need to change "Russian" to their own native language on the right side of the page.
I think this is about as close as you can get to that.
This pre-filled "advanced search" searches for...
English with audio directly linked to Spanish with audio.
Sort: newest first
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc...&sort_reverse=
Just load the page and click the "Search" button.
An alternative would be to also allow indirectly-linked Spanish with audio, which will give you more results.
See the Link: Any on the right side of the page.
https://tatoeba.org/eng/sentenc...&sort_reverse=
You would have to browse the results, looking for ones that don't yet have sentences in your native language.
We have a number of Spanish and English sentences with audio that don't yet have translations into any language.

Note that with only 365 (366) days in a year, and with the numbers of members we have, every day is likely a birthday for a number of our members.
I will let you do that math.
Members (total 49,964)
Or, you could limit to just the 6,350 native-speaker contributors' usernames on this page.

We could easily clutter up the Wall with birthday greetings if we're not careful.
