@me to correct the sentences! :)

If you see some Chinese sentences that might be wrong, or have questions about Chinese, please @ me or send me a message.

hey I'm Glossa. I like west Germanic languages such as low saxon and Dutch.
Autistic, special interest: Dutch dialects and languages.

Due to my busy life, I may not have a lot of time online, sorry, but I will be online regularly.
I go online to check and revise sentences, adopt orphan sentences, translate sentences from other languages into Chinese Mandarin or sometimes Wu (mostly German, English, and Dutch).

About my languages
My motherlanguage is Mandarin and Wu.Send me a message if you need help with them:D
Wu has many dialects. There is a wide gap between the various dialects of Wu. It has a history of nearly three thousand years and has been formed since the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period. I speak Shanghainese because I was born in Shanghai. I can also speak some Huzhou dialect. I can spell in the Wu alphabet, but I can't type them on my input method. I have tried spelling with homophones but it doesn't work well. Maybe I should use the International Phonetic Alphabet?

example:
IPA: /z̥ɑ̃22 hᴇ44 ɦᴇ22 ɦo44/
Pinyin (Wu) :zaon he ghe gho
Homophonic:上海闲话,上海言话
Mandarin:上海话
English:Shanghainese

Some dialects of Wu:

Shanghai dialect, Suzhou dialect, Huzhou dialect and Hangzhou dialect. There is also the Wenzhou dialect, which is notoriously difficult to understand. These are the dialects that I am familiar with and there are many more so I will not list them all.

Shanghainese is a dialect of Wu, and the dialects of Shanghainese vary. The Chongming dialect may be more difficult for people from the Huangpu district.
The Wu language is not taught in schools, but recitation competitions about it are held in Shanghai. Some competitions are open to secondary and primary school students, but there are also competitions for adults.

I studied classical Chinese in secondary school, however, it is not my native language. You can certainly ask me anything about Classical Chinese.

I'd like to talk with people who love languages or dialects.click me!:) You can also find me on several social medias with the same name.
